Failing? Remember: it matters not the depths to which we #descend but rather the #determination with which we #rise. Throughout human history, we are most #inspired by those who despite ALL odds, manage to pull themselves out of the mire of #despair and systematically ascend to new heights.

They #forgive heroically for they have embraced first and foremost their own failings. Determined to achieve #freedom, they have taken the first courageous effort to assess the mud in which they are stuck. Then, they begin the ever-ending strain towards removing themselves from their misery.

The heavens themselves must pause in #wonder at those first feeble steps. A collective holding of the breath filled with hope and goodwill towards the person who strives. Do they not #inspire all those who watch? Whether they be in the muck themselves or cheering from shore? That single moment of decision takes the breath out of our lungs in breathless anticipation.

A step forward, a hand reached out, an imperceptible change of opinion, a minor action - it matters not what "it" actually is but the motivation to rise above speaks #universally to our souls. It inspires us to bravely inspect our own areas of mire and to invite the sun to light a path to a bright future.
