"It is what it is." Whether in business or in your personal life being able to say this sentence is a key to progress.  At InspireHUB Inc., we say this often as a reminder.  Whether we are planning and discover the timelines we wanted are longer than anticipated or when we are troubleshooting a problem.  

"It is what it is." allows us the power to deal in transparency and truth and this lights our path.  That #path may be rocky, but it's far easier to navigate a well-lit path and find success. Dealing in realities allows you to find the path to new possibilities.

As a leader, saying "It is what it is" usually results in a sense of relief for the team.  It reminds them that #constraints are inevitable, #challenges are natural, and that worrying about either of those things will not change the #practical reality before us that must be addressed. 

"It is what it is." does not mean settling.  We never settle.  We ask tough #questions, and when we think we are done asking we end with "What are we missing?" After exhausting all avenues, we then chart our success path and work to communicate it to everyone.  ESPECIALLY when it's not ideal.

"It is what it is." is about running courageously forward towards the challenge, and it works every time.
