What’s #Flourishing Now? A distinctly human trait in a world with #ai is our desire for shared human experiences even with those we do not know. We are deeply #curious about others. So curious that we often fall into comparison traps. Every new technology disruption has been met with warnings and promises that usually end up different than was anticipated. There’s no doubt that #ai has captured our imaginations for both the good and bad. We must be vigilant and speak out the warnings. There are many. Yet, let’s also allow moments of light to penetrate this season. Gen Z and below is already “over” AI. They booed executives at a recent conference. It’s a demographic trend to pay attention. We talk of the future and it is their future we are building. They are already sending signals that are surprising those who are paying attention. Normally, the youth lead the way with adoption. This is new and for those afraid? A signal that perhaps our “distinctly human” parts of society and how we engage will remain. I see the dark ominous warnings and I also see the points of light shining bright in the next generation.
